CADASIL syndrome: Long-term follow-up on MRI

Abstract Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is a hereditary vascular disorder inherited in an autosomal dominant manner. MRI plays crucial role the diagnosis follow-up of patients. Characteristic lesions include symmetric bilateral white matter periventricular hyperintensities, lacunar infarcts cerebral microbleeds. In our case report, we demonstrate male patient genetically confirmed CADASIL syndrome progression symptoms corresponding imaging findings throughout years.
